Pakistan Travel Guide

Pakistan is a tourist destination for many visitors to take in. It is considered "the next big thing"because of its potential for expansion in the fields of tourism, economy and industry. Pakistan borders extend from the Indus river to the valleys of the Himalayas, ending at the shores of the Arabian Sea. The landscapes of Pakistan runs the gamut from arid deserts to lush gardens. It is strategically positioned as a gateway to both Asia and Europe.

Pakistan is divided into three major regions: the plateau of Baluchanistan, found in the mountains of northern Pakistan, and the lowlands of the Indus. Most food is obtained from the Pakistan Indus, which some of the most irrigated and fertilized the soil across the country creates. The region's wealth of natural resources makes it one of the most populated areas of Pakistan.

The population of Pakistan is growing fast. In fact, in the last few years, the population increased by about 10% per year. The Pakistani community is a mix of ethnicities and races. The Pakistani population is dominated by men, and the ratio is definitely skewed. There are different groups of people in Pakistan, one of which is the Pashtuns, who live in the northwestern part of Pakistan. This group has been searching for an autonomous government independent of Pakistan. Another important group is the Baluchi's, which are mainly located in southwestern Pakistan. Approximately 97% of the population of Pakistan is Muslim, and this dominant religion is clearly reflected in the land of faith and cultures.
